In the first step, the whole building had to be cleaned and the asbestos had to be removed. In the beginning, the local workers refused to use any protective clothing. Concerned for their health, we struggled hard to finally convince them to wear the provided equipment that meets the German safety standards. Only then, the work could start.
The second step was to renovate the roof.
