Ahlan wa sahlan:
Cinema Jenin is open to the public
On the 5th of August 2010 in the heart of Jenin, Cinema Jenin hosted hundreds of people for the first time. After two years of intensive renovations, more than 300 people took their seats and crowded the corridors. After 23 long years, Cinema Jenin finally celebrated its resurrection.
The people of Jenin have regained an important cultural asset and a venue for new experiences. Cinema Jenin offers audiences a variety of film genres and programs, in addition to drinks and snacks at Allam’s Cafeteria in the garden behind the cinema. Cinema Jenin also has an attached film school with subtitling and dubbing studios which will be set up over the course of the year. Film and camera workshops for young Palestinians complete the service range offered here.
Starting now, tickets will be available one hour before every show at the box office.
